Pawan Sarovar, Nandgaon
About Pawan Sarovar
Yashoda Kund is a peaceful pond located just south of Nanda Bhawan. Every day, Mother Yashoda would come here to bathe. Sometimes, she would bring Krishna and Balarama along and enjoy watching them play. After bathing, she would offer prayers to Lord Nrsimhadeva at the temple by the pond, asking for Krishna’s protection.
Nearby, there is an ancient cave where many saints have meditated and achieved closeness to the Supreme Lord. Even today, this sacred spot draws sadhus who are free from worldly desires. They come here to practice their devotion in solitude, following the footsteps of those who came before them.
